4.5.2020 - NMR-Abteilung: Increase of sample changer shifts

Operation for sample changer spectrometers goes back to the normal schedule. However, samples will still exclusively be set up by NMR staff.

Dear users,

beginning this week, we change the operation for samplechanger spectrometers back to the normal schedule. However, samples will still exclusively be set up by NMR staff. Thus, it is *not* allowed to enter the NMR laboratories at any time. For operator instruments (400/500/600 MHz), no changes apply.

Please observe the following rules:

(1) To have samples measured during the morning shift, they need to be in the sample rack at latest at 7:30 am in the morning. For samples being measured during the afternoon/night shift, tubes need to be in the rack at latest at 3.30 pm (Friday: 1.30 pm).

(2) Please, always first put the sample in the next free spinner, then immediately set up the corresponding electronic order in nmrshiftdb/laplace (this will avoid double booking of a holder position). Do not change this order, otherwise a sanctions (warning) will be applied.

(3) Always observe the safety regulations valid for work at the UzK (https://portal.uni-koeln.de/en/coronavirus). Only one person at a time can access the corresponding door with sample rack holders. Also, keep a security distance of at least 1.5 m and wear a mouth-and-nose cover when entering the NMR hallway.

These regulations are valid as of now and until further notice
