The printer was damaged because someone tried to clear a paper jam themselves. That`s the second time that the printer was damaged by a user, I would like to set some rules for the next paper jam to protect the printer and ensure the undisturbed NMR service possible.

 

If you notice that the printer is making an unusual noise when printing and no label is ejected, do not attempt to print again. Lock the screen, pull the power plug of the printer and send a short mail to the NMR department. You can also try to contact me by phone. Do NOT try to fix the paper jam yourself! (Note: This was the second paper jam since the printer has been in use)

 

To lock the screen open the menu on the left bottom, go to „Leave“ and press on „Lock“.
